Revenues from sailing tours with "Sandkilen Helmi - anno 1886" is an important prerequisite for the preservation of Roslagens only remaining Sand Carrier - a listed heritage ship. Contributions from members, sponsors, donations and revenue from the sale of items in the webstore contributes to some extent, but the majority of the revenue comes from sailing activities.

The costs of operation and maintenance has been kept to a minimum since most of the business is conducted on a voluntary basis. For example, there is no remunerations for skippers or other crew in addition to pure cost reimbursement.

The large element of voluntary work has made it possible to offer sailing tours with Sandkilen Helmi - for most people to a affordable price!

The prices below include 6% sales tax.

Base price (full day): Adults 600 SEK, children with parental / adult supervision 200 SEK.

For some sailing tours we charge an additional fee. The surcharge depends on the events. Please contact us by phone or e-mail for more information!

If the booking is made close to departure date it may be necessary with cash payment and an receipted invoice - otherwise the booking is not valid on the date of departure.

If the number of paying passengers on a voyage is less than 5 adults, the sailing tour could be canceled and the fees paid will be refunded. Decisions regarding canceled sailing is decided no later than 5 days prior to departure and the correspondents will be informed immediately.

The captain decides whether a sailing tour must be canceled or not, for example, in strong winds or other cause. In case of cancellation due to the above reasons, fees paid are fully refundable.

Cancellation made by the customer at least one month before departure permit repayment of the entire paid fee. When cancellation is made less than one month before departure we charge the customer a booking fee of 20% of the total price. When the cancellation is made less than a week before departure, the association has the right to charge the total price.
